Opening an edible oil processing plant requires a variety of equipment, which varies according to the type of raw materials processed and the scale of production. The following are the main equipment required in general:

1. Raw material pretreatment equipment

Pretreatment equipment carries out cleaning, shelling, crushing, softening, puffing, embryo rolling and steam frying on the oil to make it reach a good state before pressing. It should be noted that different oils have different characteristics, and the required equipment will be slightly different. Therefore, pretreatment equipment can be selected according to the oil conditions to be treated by customers, so that the investment funds can play a greater role.

2. Pressing equipment

Pressing is the key link to extract edible oil. The main equipment includes screw oil press and hydraulic oil press.

3. Leaching equipment

The residual oil rate of oil in the press cake obtained by pretreatment of press workshop is high, and the residual oil rate can be controlled below 1% after treatment by leaching equipment to obtain more oil. Leaching equipment mainly includes leacher, distillation tower, condenser, long tube evaporator and stripping tower.

4. Refining equipment

After pressing or leaching, crude oil needs to be further refined to remove impurities, pigments and peculiar smell in order to improve the edible value and market value of edible oil. Refining equipment mainly includes decoloring pot, deodorizing pot and steam boiler.

In addition to the above core processing equipment, some auxiliary equipment is needed to support production, such as oil storage tank packaging machine. Waste residue and waste water will be produced during the processing of edible oil, so it is necessary to equip with environmental protection equipment, such as sewage treatment system and waste gas treatment device. In addition, it is necessary to install fire-fighting facilities to ensure production safety.
