Soybean Oil Processing Plant, Soybean Oil Extraction Machine
Soybean oil is a widely used vegetable oil. Contains 7-10% palmitic acid, 2-5% stearic acid, 1-3% arachidonic acid, 22-30% oleic acid, 50-60% linoleic acid and 5-9% linoleic acid. Soybean oil is rich in linoleic acid, which can significantly reduce serum cholesterol content and prevent cardiovascular diseases.
Soybean, the raw material for making soybean oil, is a crop with low oil content, generally 11-20%. Cultivated in the United States, Argentina, China, Zambia, Mauritius, Tanzania, Canada and other countries and regions. Huatai is a professional manufacturer of grease machinery and equipment. To provide you with high-quality soybean oil extraction machine and refining equipment. If you are interested in soybean oil processing plant, please feel free to contact us!
How is soybean oil extracted?
Soybean oil processing plants usually adopt two main methods to extract soybean oil: physical pressing method and solvent leaching method.
Physical pressing method: This method mainly separates the oil from soybean by physical pressure. The specific steps include cleaning soybeans, drying, crushing, sieving, pressing and filtering. During the pressing process, soybeans are pressed by an oil press to release oil, and the obtained crude oil retains the original flavor of soybeans.
The Soybean Oil Production (Pressing) Process
The pressing method can be divided into cold pressing method and hot pressing method.
Hot pressing: soybean—cleaning—crushing—swelling—extruding—drying—pressing
Cold pressing: The method includes pretreatment—low-temperature drying—peeling—color sorting—tempering—cold pressing—filtering.
The cold pressing method is to press without heating, while the hot pressing method is to press after heating or steaming soybeans. The content of linoleic acid in soybean oil obtained by cold pressing method is higher, while the oil yield by hot pressing method is higher.
Chemical leaching method: This method uses chemical solvents to extract oil from soybeans. First, soybeans are washed, dried, crushed and sieved, then mixed with organic solvents such as No.6 light gasoline and soaked in the extractor. By heating and stripping, the solvent in oil can be removed, thus soybean oil can be obtained. Chemical leaching method has the characteristics of high oil yield and large production scale, but it may affect the purity and flavor of soybean oil.
In most industrial-scale soybean oil plants, soybean oil is processed by solvent extraction. We have established several soybean oil plants overseas. You can contact us for more information about soybean oil plants.
Refining of Soybean Oil
Refining is another important process in soybean oil processing plant to ensure that the oil obtained by pressing or solvent extraction is suitable for eating. This process is necessary to remove impurities such as phospholipids, free fatty acids (FFA), pigments, odors and other pollutants. Removing these impurities is very important to make oil edible, which involves several key processes. Firstly, insoluble substances in oil are removed by filtration, while soluble substances are removed by degumming to remove phospholipids, alkali refining to remove free fatty acids, colorants, insoluble substances and gums, and active soil bleaching. Or activated carbon to eliminate color and other impurities. These refining processes are very important to ensure the quality and safety of edible soybean oil.
