Canola Oil Processing Plant
Canola oil made from crushed canola seeds is one of the best oils for heart health, it has less saturated fat and high in healthier unsaturated fats. Canola oil produced by canola oil plant contains rich omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which may help protect the heart through its effects on blood pressure, cholesterol and inflammation. Because of its light flavor, high smoke point, and smooth texture, canola oil can be used in a number of dishes and cooking methods.
The pressing method and extraction method are commonly used in the production of canola oil processing plant. In recent years, oil extraction method based on organic solvent extraction principle develops fast. It can significantly increase the oil yield in canola oil processing. Advanced pre-pressing & extraction method including flaking, steam cooking, pre-pressing and solvent extraction is also used in canola oil plant. In this way, 18% to 19% oil is pressed by oil press first, then the pre-pressed oil cake is further processed by solvent extraction, so that the oil residue of dry oil cake can be decreased to 2% to 3%.

Apart from canola seeds, a series of equipment are needed in canola oil processing plant, including the suction vibrating screen, magnetic separator, demineralizer, flaking machine, steam cooking machine, filtering machine, extractor, evapo-separated machine, steam drying machine, stripping tower, etc.
Cleaning Section of Canola Oil Processing Plant
Graded canola seeds are cleaned by a number of methods, including air aspiration, indent cylinder cleaning, sieve screening, or a combination of these to remove the impurities in canola seeds before crushing into canola oil and meal.
Preconditioning Section of Canola Oil Processing Plant
Seeds which will be processed for oil and meal are preconditioned by using mild heat treatment, and the moisture of canola seeds is then adjusted to improve the efficiency of subsequent canola oil processing.
Extraction Section of Canola Oil Processing Plant
Press cake from seed processing would be extracted by using either hexane ("solvent") extraction or "cold-pressing" to remove much of the remaining oil in press cake.
